Replacing the Noise and Chaos

My previous life was filled with noise and chaos. A job that, thankfully, helped pay the bills, but unfortunately left little time for me to spend with my husband or follow my dreams. Being busy…too busy to have any kind of work/life balance – let alone a life – was encouraged by bosses. There is a culture that glorifies being busy…and it just stupid!

Bob and I knew we wanted and needed to change our lifestyle. If you have been reading my blog for a while then you know all about that. I will honestly tell you that although our decision to get rid of ninety-five percent of our stuff and move to another country has come with some major sacrifices and it’s share of issues…we would not change it for anything.

We are thankful every day. EVERY SINGLE DAY!

Many times during this lockdown we have talked about how happy we are that we live where we do. And now that we have entered Phase Zero of the de-escalation of lockdown – which means we are allowed to go outside for walks and exercise – we are thrilled to be able to walk out the door to this beautiful property.

Sound up for these beautiful morning birdsong videos.
