Birth of a Poppy

Ah, the birth of a poppy. Such a beautiful sight to capture.

I went back the following morning to find her looking stunning.

She has an abundance of friends.

    1. This makes me smile!
I think there are more blooming here this year but it could be that I am out walking more and noticing them more. And I just used the word “more” three times in the same sentence.
I love the the tiny dewdrops.

      1. Today it is raining. Not real rain, that misty stuff that you walk out in and think you won’t get too wet and then in 10 minutes you are soaked. If I had proper shoes for my sore feets, I’d wander out and admire those tiny drops on the bright green foliage. Water is a lovely part of the world!

      2. Ah, we had one of those misty rainy days last week. I love getting outside and capturing some photos of the raindrops on days like that. Today we have a sunny morning but thunderstorms coming this afternoon. Too windy on my walk this morning to take too many photos.
