A writer’s dream comes true

I would say it was just an ordinary day but truthfully it doesn’t feel quite that way.

On this day last year, my blog post was “Don’t tread on someone else’s dreams.” 

I was just starting to follow my dreams then and the words of someone close to me really bothered me. Thus that post.

Well, today I hope that person and any others who have doubted me along the way are reading this. The writer’s group that I joined in March have created a book of our short stories which is being published. Today we announced the book launch which will take place on December 2nd at Montroig Cafe in Sitges. Here is a link to the Facebook event.

As I know many of you are not local I will be providing a link shortly where you can order it online and have it shipped directly to your home. How easy is that?!? €1 from each book goes to finding a cure for Childhood Cancer.

This has been an incredible journey for me following my dream of writing and joining this group last March was a leap out of my comfort zone. I appreciate all of your support of my blog over the past 18 months. I hope that you will enjoy this book of short stories and I know you will love the other authors in this book! They have become dear friends and I look forward to our continued collaboration.
