We’ve had a relaxing day today compared to the past couple of weeks. We had breakfast outside this morning. It was sunny and the day started without wind. As we were having breakfast we noticed that our fountain wasn’t working very well so we ended up spending the next hour or so emptying it and cleaning it and putting it back together. Now it is flowing better than ever. Over the past 10 years no matter where we have lived we have made a fountain/pond for the yard. We love the sound of the trickling water. Something soothing in that.
After doing some work we went for a long walk. Picked some wild asparagus along the way.
It was a gorgeous day even if the wind still had a bite to it.
Another day of reflecting back on what we were doing a year ago. Today we are celebrating one year since Bob became a United States citizen.
You can read all about that here. A year ago tonight was our last night in the States. We arrived back to Donna and Carl’s house on Lake Norman following Bob’s oath ceremony and had a celebratory dinner with family and friends. Again…it’s hard to believe it was a year ago already.
