An Evening Walk in the Vineyard

Monday evening after visiting the stone hut with the Irises blooming on its roof, we continued our walk.

Another plot of vines. I don’t think these are part of our vineyard. I think they belong to the neighboring vineyard.

You can just see the neighboring winery at the top of the photo below. The white building nestled in the trees. Lots of extra stones piled up here.

  1. I’d love to visit your area someday-What a lovely place you live in! I am not sure, but the purple flowers look like foxglove. I love them, but they–like so many of our amazing flora and fauna–are poisonous.

    1. Come visit! There is so much to see! I don’t think the flowers are foxglove but we do have those growing wild in the vineyard as well. From what my plant app tells me…the purple ones are Vicia villosa.
