Today’s blog is all about the vines oh with a mention about bees. After a long Winter’s rest the vines are now bursting with new leaves. It is amazing how quickly the leaves go from a bud to OMG! look at all those leaves! A time lapse video would be so incredible!
We had a busy day but squeezed in a short walk in the vineyard. It turned out to be much shorter than we planned as we reached a point where we were attacked by bees. This sent both of us running, swatting, Bob removing his shirt as we thought there was a bee in there. Then when we got down the path to a safe point we realized he had knocked his Bluetooth off of his ear so we had to go back to find it. Thankfully we were not stung as our neighbors were a couple of days ago. There are plenty of ways to get the heart rate up but this is not one I would recommend.
Anyway, the vines are bursting!

This is the last photo before the bees attacked. Lol. Not sure why they were so angry as we all walk this path on a regular basis. Sure hope they get over their angst soon.
