So…this happened today.
The sun felt so good in our yard and there was no wind for a change so we decided to have some beach time.
What these photos don’t show is that the wind which was non-existent at our house was blowing cold on the beach. We seriously thought about just leaving as soon as we got there but mentally we needed the beach. So we stayed. Thankfully we were in shorts not in swimsuits.
I bought a little sandcastle kit for .95 cents and the size is perfect. I sat on my chair and made a little village. Then gathered some seashells for decoration.
The water is still cold. Only 62°F (16.7°C) Brrrrrr. I still had to stick my toes in the water.
Then I made Bob do it as well.
Just look how gorgeous it was. Damn cold wind!
Have I mentioned that…
I mean really…
The beach chairs are now staying in the back of the car because we WILL be going back soon.
