It happened! This morning they came to roll the hay! And I was home! I got to see it happen! Okay, that is a lot of exclamation marks but I am excited!!
We’ve watched it grow over the last few months.
We love watching the doggies play in it.
What we missed last year was the harvest process in full. A couple of weeks ago they came and cut the hay.
Then yesterday they came and manipulated it into rows.
This morning I was downstairs when Bob called out to me that the hay baler was here. Even though it was only a couple of minutes before I got outside they had already rolled two bales.
How cool is this?!?!?
The vineyard trades the hay with a local farmer for manure which will be delivered in January or February.
