Ah…as far as we are concerned it is now Summer. I know that the official date is the 21st of June and I will celebrate that also but today it officially started for us.
The day started with us both working and then an early lunch. After lunch we packed the beach chairs into the car and loaded up the towels, bottle of water, sunscreen, and our Kindles and headed to the BEACH!
Yesterday we finally had our first 80°F (26.6°C) and today we were determined to take advantage of the second one. It has been a cold and wet Winter and Spring here in Spain so we are embracing the warm sunny weather like never before!
It was breezy but warm and beautiful blue sky and the waves crashing and the sun glistening on the water. Sigh. It was paradise. It was one of the reasons we wanted to live here. To live close to the beach. To be able to go to the beach daily and swim in the sea.

The sea temperature is 70°F (21.1°C) but for some strange reason it felt just perfect so we had our first swim of the season. Sigh. Oh the feeling of sun-kissed skin that has been caressed by the sea.
Life is good. Life is better than good.
