Xan & Bob

They were just flocking to that field

Out of the corner of my eye, as we were driving down the off-ramp, I saw them. The Shepherd and his flock of sheep! A quick exit and Bob slowed at the curb so I could jump out and take some photos.

These three were having a bit of a tussle at the back.

Into the street they go.

A few stragglers.

“Yummy, this ivy hanging over the wall looks tasty!”

I love this video because you can hear the bells that they are wearing. What you can’t hear is Bob saying that not all of them have bells (to which I said “no”). We wonder if only a few have them and when the others hear them they know to follow. Any Shepherds out there who can give us the answer? (okay so I did Google it and the answers I see are that it is so the flock can be heard. Here’s one link that is quite funny)

Across the overpass we go.

“Let’s stop and eat some grass on the rotunda/roundabout.”

I think the Ram is staring us down.

I just find it really cool to live in a place where this happens and we get to see it first-hand. Just a typical day driving home. It’s the little things in life.
