The first rain of the new year. That might not seem like a big deal but it is the first measurable rainfall we have had since the 20th of October! A few drops fell in November but nothing memorable.
The rain started last night and has continued on and off. This makes my heart happy.
I don’t even mind that the dust is now mud.
Even the birds sound happy about the rain. Listen to that chorus. Do you think they are singing, “Raindrops keep falling on my head” or “I’m singing in the rain”?
A glorious lovely rainy day. Much needed and much appreciated.
