I know I have been missing in action the last week. I have been very busy with holiday stuff…more on that tomorrow. For today I would like to repost my blog from one year ago today.
One year ago today one of my dreams came true. To be a published author. One year ago today our writers’ group had our book launch for our book, “A Working Title” at Montroig Café in Sitges. I had been traveling around the United States doing a mini-book tour wherever our business trip took us. It was great to share the book with family and friends and to take photos of it all over the States. Unfortunately, I was not able to attend the launch in person as our three-week U.S. trip was extended to five weeks. I did, however, attend via Skype.
Now, before I repost the previous post below…I have exciting news to share with you. Our next book “The Cava Chronicles” will be launched on January 26th, again at Montroig Café. The Cava Chronicles is a collection of short stories that we have written over the past year. Some of the same authors from the last book but also a new member along with some guest writers. There is something for everyone. On January 26th, I will be sharing the link to purchase the book.
Below is the blog post from last year. Thank you everyone for your support! Books are still available at the link below. ♥♥
A Working Title: Book Launch
Oh my gosh! Today is finally here!! I’m so excited!!! Dreams really do come true.
Today is the book launch of our fantabulous book “A Working Title.” The launch is taking place at Montroig Cafe in Sitges which is where we meet every two weeks to write. They have been so supportive of our launch and have created huge banners and advertised the event.
The book is a collection of short stories covering various genres. Each meeting we have a different subject or prompt about which we write. Depending on the subject we give ourselves 10, 20, or 30 minutes to write. Then we read our stories aloud. It really has pushed me out of my comfort zone. And…I LOVE IT!
Just to make buying the book an even better idea, €1 from the sale of each book will go to the DONA ‘M ALES charity which was set up by the Montroig Café in Support of Pediatric Cancer Research at the Sant Joan de Déu Hospital in Barcelona.
I’ve been busy promoting the book everywhere this crazy U.S. trip has taken us.
Many of my family and friends have already purchased the book. They’ve shared photos on Facebook which I just love! Thank you to all of them!
I also love this photo of my lifelong friend Brenda reading my story, “The Cedar Chest” with tears in her eyes.
So, without further ado…drumroll please….here is the link where you can purchase your copy of “A Working Title” and remember it makes a fabulous gift.

The books are printed when you order so depending on the holiday it may take a few days for it to be delivered. It will be worth it!!
Thanks to everyone who has supported and encouraged me on this journey. It has been a dream of mine to write for years and this is proof that dreams do come true. ♥♥♥
