Today’s walk was filled with lots of wildflowers, lots of vines bursting with beautiful leaves, and glorious Irises! I’m going to focus today’s blog on just the Irises.
And here’s why…
Do you see why it is all about the Irises? I know that some of the photos are very similar but instead of me picking which ones I liked I decided to just post them all as perhaps you would like different ones to me.
I’m not sure how they first began to grow on the roof of this stone hut. Did someone plant them? Did magic happen? However it happened I am thrilled. There are still so many yet to bloom. Nature is truly amazing.

Son fotografías preciosas, no me extraña que no sepas cual es mejor.
Este tipo de flores, en lugares como Normandía, supongo que aquí también, las plantan en los techos de las casas (aquí en las barracas de piedra) para fortalecer y evitar la erosión. Sus raíces unen (en Normandía) los entramados de cañizo.
Es una bonita mezcla entre sabiduría de la naturaleza y la del hombre. 🙂
