Snow in the vineyard

The “Beast from the East” as it is being called by meteorologists has arrived here in Catalonia. SNOW! To go along with the cold temperatures. Okay, it is still Winter but snow is not normal where we live.

My sisters would tell you that it is all my fault. That wherever Bob and I move ends up having weird weather after we arrive. Of course, being my big sisters they always blame everything on the baby of the family. 😉

I am actually blaming (okay maybe not blaming) my Mom. Tomorrow would be her 83rd birthday and I think she sent me her birthday present. She loved snow as did her sister. Perhaps they both sent it to me. ♥

Of course, I had to venture out and take some photos and videos. Photos of snow falling don’t really do it justice. You can’t orchestrate the flakes to fall directly in the frame of the picture being taken.

Thankfully it is not sticking to the ground or I would have to change what I said yesterday about the white in the vineyard being weeds (or flowers we just haven’t met).
