A week of gratitude…Day 7…my husband

Day 7 of my week of gratitude. Today (and EVERY DAY) I am thankful for my wonderful and amazing husband, Bob.

I cannot imagine what my life would have been like if he hadn’t have wandered into it 25 years ago. Nothing like meeting your soulmate when you aren’t looking. WHAM!

Our life together is always an adventure. We have had some tough times but never between us. Seriously, we have never fought. Being together 24/7 is just never enough time for us.

He really didn’t have any idea what he was getting himself into when he asked me to move to Australia to be with him all those years ago. Thankfully he has accepted me as I am. Completely.

He is my biggest supporter and fiercest protector. He encourages me to grow and to step out of my comfort zone to go after something that I want. He is my rock when I falter and need a shoulder to cry on.

He has opened up the world to me. He has opened up his heart to me. And as I keep telling him…he is STUCK with me.

We don’t have a choice who we fall in love with. Our hearts do that all on their own. I’m extremely thankful that our hearts met each other.
