Last night we wandered into Sitges to take in the festivities of Gay Pride Sitges 2017. The event which, runs over 5 days is expecting 35,000 visitors. We were down in the Gay Village fairly early 9-11pm so the party was just getting started. Let’s face it…in Spain that is dinner time. The restaurants certainly looked full as we walked up through town.
The acts that we saw, Danny Beard, London Gay Big Band, were amazing.
Around town things were in full party mode.
The weather in Sitges did not disappoint. And…a full moon rising over the sea made a nice backdrop. Not the best photo but I do like the rainbow flag with the full moon shining on the water .
One of things that we have always loved about Sitges is its acceptance of everyone. No matter what. With all of the hate in the world these days it is wonderful to be surrounded by people that love. That’s it. Love. There isn’t anything more important than that.
