Back in early April I came across this stick in a field. His expression seemed sad.

Almost two weeks later I was still thinking about him. I couldn’t get his sad expression out of my mind. So, I went back to that field and picked him up and brought him home. I stood him up in our vegetable garden. To be honest, I had hoped his expression would change…but it hasn’t.

But even though his expression hasn’t changed…I get the feeling that he is happier in our garden. I’ll keep checking on him to see how he is doing. Perhaps he is still adjusting to the change of scenery.
p.s. No, I really haven’t lost my mind. Life is to short not to be silly.
Aw…I love this, thanks for the smile today! xoxo

This is perfect!!!!! And even if he never smiles so you can see it, he must be a lot happier than he was.
