Sunday was another gastronomic feast at our friend Mark’s Halloween Afternoon Tea at TulStig DelMar. In the spirit of an English afternoon tea but with more food than all of us can ever eat. All the yummy treats were made by Mark! Such talent. And with the theme being Halloween…the spread was Spooktacular!
We love these afternoon teas. The food is scrumptious and the guests are so much fun. But what makes them even more special is that all of the money raised goes to a fund Mark has set up in memory of his husband Tony who he lost to cancer a couple of years ago.
Okay…Mark didn’t make these cute little chips but I bet he could if he wanted to.
Mark lurking in the doorway as we wait for more guests to arrive.
Edith in her bloody apron helping with the event. And June is hiding in the kitchen thus no photos. Mark couldn’t do these events without their help.
Look at all these incredible homemade treats.
A full house!
Cakes, pies, and crumbles! Oh my!
What a menu!
As always we ate too much! Mark announced his Christmas tea on Facebook the next day and it sold out in a few short hours. We all want to be a part of the food festivities. Thanks, Mark!
Thanks for all your lovely kind compliments. I’m always pleased when you enjoy my fare. And look forward to seeing you at the Christmas one already.
