I love watering the garden in the morning. Waking up to beautiful blooms. When they are kissed by the morning dew it is even more delightful.
After I watered our garden this morning I walked around the lane down the side of our house to water the flower pots outside our bedroom window. These flowers blooming (Mirabilis Jalapa) down the lane are what greet us when we open our curtains. How can this not make you smile?
As Ralph Waldo Emerson said,
“Earth laughs in flowers.”
By the look of all of these flowers I think she is in hysterics!
