We went into Sitges on Monday to pick up my new glasses and decided to have a long walk on the beach. With rain expected in the late afternoon, the clouds and sun played hide and seek.
It was quite clear that Autumn had arrived as we watched many of the beach businesses packing up for the season.
Some are still open for a bit longer for those diehard vacationers from colder climates.
So empty. Peaceful.
Our spot.
A stately sandcastle left behind.
Tire marks in the sand where the truck came in to take away the lifeguard shack.
Summer may be over. Sunbathing done for another season. But the beach still beckons us. We will continue to enjoy beach time through Autumn and Winter as it renews our spirits.
Thank you
